Bonnie Blue

 

      My breeding plan is for unique, healthy,  wonderful protective companions.  I am a unconventional breeder.  I worm regularly, feed only the best, and socialize my pups well.. I also don't follow others lead, but go with what I learn and experience that over 40 yrs have provided..  Currently I also breed Pomeranians that are also unique. with a couple doxies.. to liven up the place and pester the others, building tolerance..  My Tibetan line primarily focuses on blue's ..   There is a trick to producing well colored viable blue's.  Blue can be from a dark slate blue, that can only be distinguished  against a black to the powder blue which is a lighter color. Having bred blue's in GSD's and Poms.. I have found it such a striking and unique color.. That does not mean I will not have other colors available.  Because I consider inbreeding much more a threat to this breed I have gone outside the USA to add new blood  into my line. Since most Tibetans, in the USA, not all, but most are getting pretty closely related. When considering a Tibetan Check the COI for how much they pups will be inbred..  My pups have a Low COI..

      I grew up with my parents raising Dobermans & German Shepherds. and at the age of 16 was breeding my own  and doing rescue, under their watchful eye.  Since then I have personally rescued and placed hundreds of dogs and breed many  on my own from the age of 19 on.. That was over 40 yrs ago,  I have been privileged to own some of the best dogs you could ever find and are always in my heart.. 

 

      Through the years I have bred German Shepherds, English Mastiffs, Olde English Bulldogge's among others..  Having lost our last Shepherd summer of 2014 I really wanted a protective, loving, accepting breed, that was different, as well as unique, for my protectors. So I got Tibetans.. I have found this to be a wonderful breed, that is accepting of all my other animals, while not as not a high energy of a GSD, it is not a low energy as a English Mastiff.. 

 

        I am also a breeder of unique and beautiful Pomeranians, that all my puppy people love.  While you may not think the 2 breeds have a lot in common they do.. Both are loyal, loving, breed, that are cold weather dogs,  while Poms are mouthier, they think they are just as big and are just, as fearless.. but their pint size only means they can get themselves into situations you have to get them out of.. or your Tibetan will have to get them out of.

    

          Since obtaining my TM's my parents have also gotten a couple of girls and they love them to pieces,  Being in late 70's-early 80's  they have not found them difficult or hard to handle. Their girls are not AKC with mom coming from Hong Kong and dad AKC, but they have DNA'd Pure 100% TM's..  and when or if they choose to have puppies will also be on this site..

 

          My dogs are treated as family, and while I have not been in the Tibetan breed as long as some others, I have been in dogs and find this unique and wonderful breed a  joy to own. This also means I have not bought into the foolish notion that these are just a primal breed that needs little care..  If you are accepted as part of our extended family, by owning one of our wonderful puppies, please feel free to call and let us know how our babies are doing.
